Former lawmaker criticises Charles Soludo’s oil development committee

Hon. Victor Afam Ogene, a former member of the House of Representatives for Anambra State’s Ogbaru federal constituency, has criticised the proposed state Oil and Gas Development Committee’s composition. He claimed that the major oil-producing villages in Ogbaru have been excluded from the committee.

140 Babcock Teaching Hospital doctors, nurses resign; relocate overseas

Dr Titus Oyedele, director of clinical services and training at Babcock University Teaching Hospital (BUTH) in Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State, has voiced concern about the brain drain problem in Nigeria. He noted that the hospital had lost about 50 doctors and 90 nurses who had left for better opportunities abroad.
