Four little children were taken out of the mid-terrace house by firefighters using breathing apparatus.
On arrival, the first fire crews were met with a massive conflagration that engulfed the entire ground floor.
They were given CPR right away by firefighters on the scene, who continued to treat them until ambulance crews arrived.
Despite the efforts of rescue personnel, all four children were carried to the hospital and proclaimed dead.
Following the fire, a 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of child neglect, according to Met Police.
Police are also on the scene alongside London Fire Brigade, trying to figure out what caused the fire.
The 60 firefighters who entered the premises yesterday night will be offered counsel since they were left numb with tremendous anguish.
