Don Lewis is a missing person who vanished on the morning of 18th of August, 1997 at the age of 60 years old.

He was a native of Dade City, Florida and by the year 1981, he had made his daily living through trucking, real estate, and his used-car business.

Furthermore, his story is told to the public through a series named Tiger King in 2020 and now its sequel has been launched.

The sequel explores the theory that Don is still alive, as per the Radio Times.

Don Lewis is neither found alive nor dead in 2021 after he went missing.

After Don vanished in 1997 from his home in Tampa, Florida, he was discovered at a private airport two days after he left.

His wife, Carole mentioned that Don told her that he was going on a trip to Costa Rica. However, despite a police investigation and a private investigation, Lewis was never found.

So, in the year 2002, being not able to find him or his body, he was declared dead on the 5th anniversary of his disappearance.

After his disappearance, the search was done from Lewis’s Wildlife on Easy Street sanctuary located in Tampa, which was owned by Carole to land owned by Lewis in Costa Rica.

However, no clue or evidence of him being murdered has surfaced on a police investigation or on social media. But, the investigators believe that he disappeared on his own, as per Wikipedia.

Furthermore, Don was a self-made millionaire and had left behind over the US 5 million dollars assets.

As of 2021, the case is still open with no arrests or charges made on anyone.

However, recently Lewis’s daughter has hired an attorney John Michael Phillips and has filed a lawsuit against Carole seeking intel on her father’s death and fraud to documents.

Don Lewis and Baskin tied the knot in the year 1991. The couple together with each other opened Big Cat Rescue in the following year of their marriage.

Their marriage seems to be going smoothly despite being 22 years age gap until Don vanished.

After he vanished without a trace there was many theory that came into the public mind and one of the theory was his wife might be involved in it, but nothing has popped up to date.

Don’s family was also angered with Carole after she received overall control of most of Don estate.

It is also reported that Lewis kids always said that he was planning to leave Baskin, but the officially divorced filing was never found
