Fraternity Sexual Assault Case

The University of Southern California received allegations of sexual assault at the Sigma Nu fraternity house, located at 660 W. 28th Street.

A student claimed she was sexually assaulted after being drugged at a frat party, on September 27.

As per the USC, drugs were allegedly mixed into drinks during a party at the same fraternity home, leading to the possibility of drug-assisted sexual assaults.

Likewise, five women also claimed being drugged at the frat that night, according to the incident record, with a sixth lady reporting a drugging that night but not revealing the location.

The fraternity has been placed under suspension, the crime notice reported, and it has been prohibited from hosting or organizing any activities, parties, or social gatherings at the Sigma Nu home.

The university said it has reported the information to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Furthermore, the fraternity is worried about the serious claims and will attempt to collaborate with University officials in the investigation.
