Edwin McPherson, a trial lawyer who has represented artists, entertainers, athletes, and businessmen, is representing singer Travis Scott currently.
Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert has caused havoc on social media. Netizens, especially those related to the victims, want actions to be taken against the singer for his negligence.
The concert saw a surge of over 50,000 crowds that killed 8 people and injured many others in Houston, Texas. The families of the victims have held Scott accountable for their deaths.
However, the singer’s lawyer, Edwin McPherson, has debunked inconsistent messages in the Astroworld investigation.
McPherson released a statement, claiming only the festival director and executive producers had the authority to stop the show, who were not part of Scott’s crew.
He asked people to stop fingerprinting the singer and requested authorities to start the investigation to find out what actually happened at the festival, as per Complex.
