Who Is Ryan Lamb From Kalispell?
Ryan Lamb, a Kalispell man, was arrested in 2018 after stabbing Ryan Nixon. He stabbed his 31-year-old boyfriend during a sexual encounter in their shared apartment.
Court records show that on August 5, 2018, Kalispell Police Department responded to a residence on Two Mile Drive in Flathead County after learning of a possible dead man. Initially, Lamb pleaded not guilty, and the trial ended up with a mistrial.
Likewise, the prosecution claimed Lamb enjoyed having intercourse with a lot of violence, including using scissors. However, the defense claimed that Nixon was an abusive partner and Lamb acted in self-defense.
He entered a plea of guilty by way of Alford to negligent homicide on December 11, 2019, in relation to the death of Nixon.
His therapist, who Lamb was visiting prior to the murder, said that he had shown the behavior suggesting that he was in an abusive relationship. However, the therapists said he was not a threat to the community or others but himself.
In February 2020, he was sentenced to ten years in prison. Moreover, following the sentencing, the judge also said that he should continue the treatment when in prison.

Ryan Lamb is serving his prison sentence today. He was sentenced to 10 years of life in prison after murdering his boyfriend, Ryan Nixon.
Following the trial, Judge Allison stated that even though he thought the pair had a “toxic relationship,” the defendant still needed to pay for his crimes, regardless of what had happened.
Thus, he was given a 10-year term as well as ordered to pay more than $10,000 in compensation to the victim’s family and the state crime victim advocate program, as per Flathead Beacon.
