Where Is Paddy Conroy Newcastle Now?

Paddy Conroy, the notorious hardman, has disclosed that he is seeking for a fresh start and hopes to open his own fruit and vegetable booth along the A69 between Newcastle and Carlisle.

Sadly, He spent years in some of the country’s most draconian prisons. Billy Collier’s teeth were ripped out with pliers, and his nostrils were disfigured, thus the former fugitive was sentenced to prison.

Conroy, on the other hand, is attempting to leave his criminal past behind and plans to open his own fresh food store on the side of a major North East highway.

Gangster Attempted Murder Charges

Conroy, who spent 11 years in some of the country’s most notorious jails, has contested a guilty conviction for the horrific attack on Billy Collier dating back to 1995.

Likewise, he and his colleague David Glover were later apprehended and convicted of torture, kidnapping, and false imprisonment.

In a planned operation last year, narcotics squad detectives searched his home for heroin. Conroy was charged with possession when they discovered a tiny amount of cannabis.

Conroy was accused of being the brains behind a jury nobbling conspiracy during the Freddie Knights murder trial in 2002, according to a legal team representing West End competitor John Henry Sayers in 2010.

After years of violence between two of Tyneside’s most renowned fighting families, Sayers’ legal team claimed he acted to throw his enemy back behind bars.

Moreover, Mr Knights was shot and died on his way to fetch gifts for his son on the porch of his mother’s Longbenton home in 2000. Sayers was acquitted of the murder two years later, although his co-accused were sentenced to prison on manslaughter charges.

However, supergrass Errol Hay said he threatened juror Robert Black’s family and offered him pounds 10,000 if he “made the proper decision” during a late-night phone call to his Leeds home.

The call, according to Sayers’ defence team, was staged by Conroy and Mr Hay as part of a scheme to send Sayers to prison if he was acquitted of organizing the gangland murders in 2000.

According to Conroy, “The Sayers family has blamed me for these events, despite the fact that I have never done anything wrong. I was falsely accused of assassinating Freddie Knights and (fellow hardman) Viv Graham.”

Paddy Conroy Family

Sayers, a former career criminal, told us about how he turned his back on crime for the sake of his family. And he’s now pleading with Conroy to put an end to his animosity toward Stephen and his brothers so that they can all move on.
