McBath created a foundation, Champion in The Making Legacy, that helps young high schoolers to continue their education and training after their graduation.

Curtis is Lucy’s second husband as she was previously married to her ex-husband Ron Davis.
Born on June 1, 196, Lucy grew up in a military household where her father, brother, nephew, and cousins all served in the US military. She was diagnosed with breast cancer and has survived two bouts of cancer.
Talking about her political views, Lucy is a supporter of legal abortion and has given her support by funding programs that give women autonomy over their reproductive decisions. Similarly, she has criticized some of the 2017 Republican tax cuts and hopes to make the temporary middle-class tax cuts permanent.

McBath lost her son, Lucien who passed away in 1993. Her other son, Jordan was murdered on November 23, 2012. He was only 17 years old when a 45-year old, Michael David Dunn shot the teenager during an argument over loud music.
Dunn was found guilty of first-degree murder and in a second trial, he was sentenced to life plus ninety years in prison.
