Jackson GA Officer Dies From Gun Shot
Lena Nicole Marshall passed away on Monday afternoon, just three days after the shootout. A domestic call in Jackson County, Georgia, turned into a violent shootout and she died shortly before 4 pm on November 8, 2021, reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has identified the shooter as Jessica Worsham. Jessica is a 43-year-old woman from Hoschton. She fired at Lena and another deputy when they confronted her at a home. It struck Marshall, and the other deputy returned fire, killing Worsham.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office has posted an obituary for Mashall’s death.
