On 2 November 2021, there were reports that Jeff Banks’ monkey allegedly attacked a kid on Haloween.
The photographer from Huston, Tom Campbell, tweeted that he heard about it from a credible source. Such rumors don’t get attention often, especially considering their origin relating to someone who isn’t a college football reporter. However, Tom is a journalism major from Texas A&M, and mainstream outlets have featured his photographs.
Additionally, Bank’s girlfriend hopped on Twitter to confirm the rumors. The monkey was a white-faced capuchin named Gia, which belonged to his girlfriend, Danielle Thomas. It used to perform with her during her time as a pole dancer, Pole Assasin.
Thomas later tweeted defending herself. She aid that a kid ventured beyond the haunted house, displayed for Haloween, and to the monkey’s housing. People later told her that a kid got bitten but described the wound as small.
Tom even shared a video showing the haunted house and the route to the cage. Looking at the video, it is evident that the child stuck their arm. Jeffs’ girlfriend doesn’t seem to be involved with this incident.
