Janene Hoskovek is the viral coughing maskless woman, whom people are calling “Karen”.

Hoskovek was recently filmed mocking masked people in the Super Saver grocery store in Lincoln, Nebraska. People are alleging that Janene “intentionally” coughed at others.

The clip was originally posted on Reddit by a user named Jessbird. Likewise, the post was titled, “Anti-Mask Karen Deliberately Coughing on me at South 27th Super Saver.”

According to Jessbird, she had visited the store with her 13 years old daughter. Suddenly, Janene showed out of nowhere and allegedly mocked her for wearing a mask. As the situation escalated, Jess started to record the incident.

In the now-viral-video, Hoskovek can be heard saying things like, “Nebraskans have turned into sheep.” Then, she proceeds to cough at nearby people – claiming she has allergies.

Despite the mask mandate in Lincoln, Jess was sadly caught in the situation. Furthermore, she also alleges that out of many masked people in the store, Janene only targeted her.

Janene Hoskovek seems around the age of her 50s.

Hoskovek completed her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado in 1990. So, she might be around her mid-50s right now.

According to her Linkedin profile, she currently works as a client partner for SAP. So, people are even dragging SAP for Janene’s inappropriate video.

Despite the issue, Janene Hoskovek is not featured on Wikipedia yet. But, netizens have discovered much information about her.

Apparently, people have found Janene Hoskovek pictures with her husband. Nevertheless, Mr Hoskovek has not spoken about the situation yet.

Janene Hoskovek is also trending on Facebook and Instagram.

However, Janene has made all of her social media handle private after the public backlash. Yet, people are still mentioning SAP for Janene’s behaviour.

After a tsunami of criticism, SAP eventually released a statement on Twitter. They wrote, “The health and safety of our employees and the communities in which we live and work are of utmost concern to us.”

They further added, “We are taking the matter of an SAP employee incident very seriously and investigating the situation.” However, SAP explicitly named Janene in the event.

No officials police charges have been reported against Janene till now. The investigation is still on the way.
