Fatinah Hossain is a former teaching assistant jailed for having sexual relations with a schoolboy.
She is from Dutchells Copse, Horsham. Speaking about her age, she is 25 years old. With that, she was probably born in 1996. But she never disclosed her birthdate and birthplace publically.
There are a few things known about her including, her educational qualifications and family members. As per Linkedin, she was a study supervisor from Forest School, but the recent controversy probably removed the profile from the platform.
Sussex Teacher Fatinah Hossain – Charges Explained
Fatinah Hossain, a Sussex-based assistant teacher, got charged with one count of perverting the course of justice and one count of sexual activity with the boy while in a position of trust.
On 21 October 2021, she appeared before Brighton Crown Court and pleaded guilty to the alleged charges. Judge Gold sentenced her to five years and four months in prison. Additionally, she will be a registered sex offender and subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for ten years after her prison sentence.
As per Detective Constable Leigh Rankin, Fatinah first got arrested in June 2020 after a report, which stated that she had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy from a school in Horsman, where she was a study supervisor/cover teacher. It also said that the sexual relationship continued for several months, during which she played with the boy’s emotion and even faked pregnancy when the boy decided to break free.
Charged for offenses in October 2020, the Magistrates initially gave her bail. After that, she used fake social media accounts, including a 14-year -old girl, to derail the investigation. She used those accounts to manipulate other children and even threaten them.
Hossain used the 14-year-old fake account and fabricated messages with an adult member of the victim’s family. She then tried to make the member lose his job and provided false reports to the police until March 2021. But, the police got the evidence that she falsified the allegations against the family.
