A criminal complaint was filed against Antonio, who could face charges related to lewd, indecent, or obscene acts. McGarity allegedly asked the woman sitting next to him, who he did not know if it was OK with her if he exposed and touched himself, while onboard Southwest Airlines Flight 3814.

The woman then shared the photos of the act she had secretly taken to flight attendants when McGarity later fell asleep. She was then moved to another seat on the plane by the flight crew.

Antonio Sherrodd McGarity was arrested on Saturday after he allegedly exposed himself and repeatedly touched himself on a Southwest Airlines flight from Seattle to Phoenix, according to court documents. He reportedly masturbated at least four times during the flight.

The woman also suspected that McGarity had reached orgasm at least once because he saw her licking a white substance with his fingers.

McGarity thought the response from the female passenger whom he asked whether he could masturbate was “kind of kinky” and believed the female was comfortable with him touching himself, the complaint adds.

Federal police from Pheonix arrested McGarity when the airplane landed at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The flight took off from Seattle, Washington, and was bound to Pheonix, Arizona.

As a result of the incident, Southwestern Airlines placed Antonio on the no-fly list, meaning he is now banned from traveling with Southwest Airlines for his lifetime. He can face up to 90 days in prison and a $500 fine.

In a similar incident, last year, a Southwest Airlines pilot was arrested and charged with exposing his genitals during a 2020 flight from Philadelphia to Orlando.
