A new campaign has been launched to find and prosecute 12 of the UK’s most wanted criminals who are believed to be hiding in Spain.

The suspects, all of whom are men, are wanted for crimes such as murder, large-scale drug trafficking, and the supply of firearms and ammunition.

Who Is Anton Verigotta?

According to various sources, Anton Verigotta was assaulted by Callum Halpin in June 2018.

However, other information about him, like his wife, nationality, and other details, are not available. The authorities might have kept everything about him a secret for his safety as the attacker was dangerous.

Callum murdered Graham, a father of two, who was ambushed and killed in broad daylight on the street in Ashton-under-Lyne in June 2018 during a drugs turf battle.

Halpin is characterized as a 6ft tall man with an athletic physique, a fair complexion, and a lazy eye. 

He has ties to Turkey as well.

On January 19, 2022, the National Crime Agency released the UK’s most wanted 12 fugitives in collaboration with independent charity CrimeStoppers, Spanish law enforcement, and the UK policing.

Nana Oppong is one of the Most Wanted. Essex Police are looking for Oppong in connection with the drive-by shooting death of grandpa Robert Powell, who was shot eight times with a 9mm pistol on June 13, 2020.

A highly tattooed man, Jack Mayle, is also wanted for allegedly distributing the Class A substance MDMA and other drugs.

Greater Manchester Police also want Callum Halpin for the assassination of heroin dealer Luke Graham and the attempted assassination of Anton Verigotta.

Asim Naveed, 29, stands 6ft 2 tall and has a muscular build. He is suspected of managing a highly organized crime group (OCG) that allegedly trafficked 46 kilos of cocaine into Wales between February and June 2020.

Was Anton Verigotta Arrested?

No! Anton is a victim, so he was not arrested.

Greater Manchester Police are looking for the attacker, Callum Halpin, in connection with the death of Luke Graham and the attempted murder of Anton Verigotta.

The assaulter is also not captured as of now but is rumored to have fled to Spain, according to the National Crime Agency.
