Authorities reported Monday that three men have been detained and charged with murder in the shooting death of an 18-year-old man in Phoenix last month.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, Anthony Covarrubias was found lying on the roadway with gunshot wounds at 48th Street and Ray Road in the Ahwatukee area around 6:30 p.m. on March 7.
Covarrubias died after being taken to the hospital.
Last week, investigators found probable cause to detain three suspects in the case, according to police.
