The presence of Selena Gomez is yet to be confirmed at Met Gala 2022. She was absent from the past two Met Galas, with her makeup artist, Hugo Vanngo, announcing her absence.
Vanngo has yet to announce for this year, although he did post a video on his Instagram account with the phrase “Met Prep” and a location in New York. He’s already worked with JLo, Bella Hadid, Joan Smalls, and Katy Perry, implying that he’s not planning Gomez’s Met Gala outfit for 2022 but rather someone else’s.
Gomez had a tanning accident during her 2018 visit, with the lotion she applied gradually turning more orange as the night progressed. Her appearance drew a lot of attention.
Gomez recounted that it was becoming a little darker and darker as the evening proceeded, and she didn’t know it. And she was attempting to look her best at the Met Gala, one of the most renowned and beautiful events of the year.
