Since his escape, people were worried about it, and the police department was also looking for him, but the news that came on Thursday left everyone shocked and devasted as Lopez was killed in a shootout with officers. Not only that, he was the one who killed four children and an adult in a home in Leon County.

The victims were recognized as four Tomball Independent School District students and their grandfather. Their names are Mark Collins, Waylon Collins, Carson Collins, Hudson Collins, and Bryson Collins.

Chris and Misty Collins’ Sons Killed By Prison Escapee

The sons of Chris and Misty Collins were Waylon Collins, Carson Collins, and Hudson Collins. They were killed by a prison escapee, Gonzalo Lopez, on Thursday. He was a convicted murderer who escaped from a prisoner bus in Texas last month.

Lopez was serving a life sentence for killing, but he escaped custody after he pierced the driver of a prisoner-transport bus and then fled on foot. He got killed in a shootout in a neighborhood in Jourdanton, Texas.

Officers gunned down him hours after he allegedly killed the Collins family and then stole a pickup truck to move on with his escape. The murderer got spotted by law enforcement driving a white Chevrolet Silverado that he allegedly stole from the murder scene.

Chris and Misty Collins Father, Mark Collins, Was One Of The Murder Victims

Mark Collins was also the victim of the murder. He got killed alongside four kids, three siblings, and one cousin named Bryson. They were excessively close to each other, and the four boys visited their grandfather, Mark, on his ranch near Highway 7.

So, all of them passed away after the convicted murderer killed them on their ranch.
