Francesca Amiker, 11Alive’s entertainment journalist, announced Monday, 25 October, on-air that she’s leaving after four years with the NBC affiliate.
Within a year of joining Morning Rush, viewers were doubled, and 11Alive saw an increase in younger viewers for the 1st time ever.
Her anchor duties covered a wide range of variety of news from technology to politics. Then going to land exclusive set visits, red carpet interviews, produce, shoot, etc.
Over the years, she has interviewed many well-known celebrities such as Oprah Winfrey, Dwayne Johnson, T.I., Tyler Perry, and John Travolta.
Francesca, the proud member of Atlanta’s hit morning show, delivered the latest developments in Georgia’s tv, film and music industry. Now we won’t be able to see her in the Morning Rush.
But we can hope that she will come strong even more in her next show.
