Dana Perino is a well-known political pundit and journalist and a former White House Press Secretary and New York Times, best-selling author.
She was born on May 09, 1972, in Evanston, Wyoming, USA.
After Dee Dee Myers, who served during the Clinton Administration, she became the second female White House Press Secretary.
She is a co-host of the hit Fox News Channel show The Five and co-anchors America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino.
Perino has written three books, the most recently released this year at Asbury Park Theater: Everything Will Be Okay: Life Lessons for Young Women (from a Former Young Woman).
Let’s know more about Dana Perino.
Dana Perino From The Five
The Five is a Fox News Channel panel chat show where five pundits discuss current events, political concerns, and pop culture.
Unless breaking news interferes, the one-hour show airs live weekdays from 5 p.m. ET (with a replay of Friday’s showing at 5 a.m. ET on Saturday mornings).
According to Fox News Channel executives, the bond between founding panelists Dana Perino and Greg Gutfeld is one of the essential aspects underpinning the network’s late-afternoon panel program, “The Five.”
Since its debut in July 2011, The Five has consistently won its time slot and awarded the fourth most-watched program on cable.
On The Five, Perino has been dubbed “The Voice of Reason” by some viewers as part of an ensemble cast.
Dana Perino Dog
His name was Jasper, and he was “America’s dog” to Fox News viewers, not simply Dana Perino’s Hungarian vizsla.
He was a regular on Fox’s “The Five” and “America’s Newsroom,” as well as the subject of Perino’s book “Let Me Tell You About Jasper.”
People are already sending condolences to Perino and her husband, Peter McMahon, after Jasper died over the Labor Day weekend.
Perino said on Instagram that she was holding him when she said goodbye, “talking about all the fishing he can do in Heaven,” and that the cause of death was a fast-spreading disease. Jasper, who was nine years old at the time, died around 12:40 p.m. on September 04.

Dana Perino Is A Political Commentator
Perino was the first Republican woman to serve as press secretary of the United States before joining Fox. She worked in President George W. Bush’s administration for more than seven years, starting as a Justice Department spokesperson shortly after the 9/11 attacks.
She was brought to the White House a year later and stayed until the Bush administration’s final day.
She managed interactions with the White House press corps and advised the president on communications as press secretary.
