The Girl in the Pictures, the most recent documentary, reveals the shocking reality of Suzanne Marie Sevakis, a young girl kidnapped by her stepfather Franklin Delano Floyd as a youngster & later married the woman he had raised as a daughter.
Sevaskis was an American entrepreneur & TV personality. At age four, the third spouse of her mother abducted her (Franklin Floyd).
Floyd also seized Phillip Brandenburg, her 1-year-old brother, and her two sisters. Similarly, Sevaskis’ sisters were, abandoned at a children’s home, and Phillip was discovered alive in 2020 when a DNA test revealed his identity. Floyd later raised her and married her.

Suzanne Marie Sevakis has two children, a son Michael Hughes & daughter Megan Dufresne. As detailed in the Netflix documentary Girl in the Picture, her son Michael died tragically young.

After years of denial, Franklin Floyd admitted to killing Michael on the same day he abducted the youngster in 2015 before going missing after his kidnapping. According to records from the government case, Gregory Higgs, Suzanne’s high school lover, may be the child’s father, indicating that Michael was not Floyd’s child.

Michael Hughes is well-known as the son of Suzanne Marie Sevakis. He was murdered in 2015 by Franklin Floyd on the same day that he was, kidnapped.
Before the confession, the inmates said that Floyd told them he had murdered Michael and gave them numerous possible methods.
According to the documentary, despite Franklin Delano Floyd’s claims, he was not Michael’s father. According to legal records, Gregory Higgs and Suzanne had a connection that led to Brandenburg being pregnant with Michael Hughes. Higgs stated that Floyd told him over the phone that he was the father.
However, it cannot be verified because Michael Hughes’ whereabouts are a mystery. Franklin Delano Floyd was found guilty of kidnapping Hughes and later admitted to killing him.

Megan Dufresne is Suzanne’s last child. After a book about the mystery of “Sharon Marshall” was published, Megan learned about her mother. According to the source, she ultimately participated in the documentary.
When she was born in 1989, Megan was placed for adoption & her father’s name remains unknown. She is a research coordinator at a sports medicine clinic and resides in Louisiana. One of her two kids is named Michael.
