Lorna Garnett, the mother of his two children, has been abandoned by a Bradford man in favor of Sofia Karkaydm, a Ukrainian refugee. The latter had only been residing in their home for a week at the man’s departure.
When Sofia moved in with them as part of the government’s refugee rehoming scheme, Garnett’s partner, Tony Garnett, 29, broke up with her. At the beginning of the invasion, Sofia fled the atrocities that were taking place in her birthplace of Lviv. She made her way to Bradford by way of Berlin.

On Sunday, she told the Sun that she believes Sofiia’set her sights on Anthony from the beginning, decided she wanted him and took him. Lorna added that she didn’t care about the damage left behind. Lorna’s husband, Tony, a Bradford security guard, found Sofia on Facebook and offered to sponsor her in the UK. Sofia received her visa in early May and flew to Manchester Airport before relocating with her husband and two daughters to Bradford, West Yorkshire.
However, as tensions between Tony and their new visitor grew, Lorna began to regret ever giving up their leased residence. Her concern grew when Sofiia showed a need for more than just a roof over her head. Lorna’s anxiety grew as she applied make-up, styled her hair, and dressed in a low-cut top when Tony returned home from work.
Lorna finally snapped and kicked Sofiia, but she was disappointed to see Tony, her eight-year lover, join her. They started sharing a bed at his mother’s house.
After a quick relationship, Tony said they had fallen head over heels in love and that he wanted to start a brand new life with Sofia. They’re currently looking for a new location to live together.
