Nyathi’s death, according to a statement written by the party’s spokesperson, Fadzayi Mahere, is a reminder of how the ruling Zanu-PF has failed the people.

Zimbabweans awoke to horrifying sights of a mound of ashes, ashes that were our fellow citizens’ remains, slain for no cause.
Nyathi was a Zimbabwean citizen who was a victim of the forced migration crisis caused by Zanu PF’s terrible administration.
His murder was unnecessary and tragic, and Nyathi was a Zimbabwean citizen who was a victim of the forced migration crisis caused by Zanu PF’s bad governance.
After settling in South Africa in search of a better life, he has tragically become a victim of random door-to-door raids by a vigilante organization that targets African foreign citizens without due process and beyond the bounds of the law.
In a constitutional democracy, a savage murder like this has no place.
