Recently, in ABC news two sisters of the Turpin family appeared and shared their story to journalist Diane Sawyer. The case goes back to the year 2018 when her parent’s deeds got the attention of the police and the public.
What Is Jordan Turpin Age?
Jordan Turpin is at the age of 21 at present. She was one of the 13 children who were imprisoned throughout her childhood by her parents.
She was the child who escaped from their clutches in 2018 and who succeeded to end their traumatic life experience. She was 17 years old when she escaped from home.
She shared that she was allowed to shower just once a year during her upbringing at a family home in Perris, California. The horrifying and torturous life came to an end when she escaped from home by crawling out of the window and calling 911.
An @ABC investigation revealed that post-rescue, some of the Turpin siblings are still struggling to access basic living necessities.

The police rescued children who were aged from 2 to 29 years old. They found the signs of malnutrition, abuse, and neglect.
No one suspected anything about the duo who tortured their kids and kept them away from the outside world for more than a decade because they used to portray themselves as a big-happy family.
They had posted a picture of their family enjoying Disneyland which prevented them from getting any kind of suspicion from their relatives.

The children had never been out of their homes. They restricted them to contact the outside world. When the police found the children, they thought that they must be underage.
However, seven of them were over 18 years. It was because of their malnourished body that they appeared to be at a small age.
Jordan Turpin Parents Sentenced In Torture Case
Jordan Turpin Parents were charged with twelve counts of torture, twelve counts of false imprisonment, seven counts of abuse of a dependent adult, and six counts of child abuse.
The father received an additional charge of a lewd act on a child under 14. They were sentenced to life imprisonment with possibility of parole in 25 years.
