What is Break The Floor Allegations? Travis Wall Grooming & Assault

Break The Floor is a well-known organization that tours Canada, the United States, and Mexico, organizing events and dance competitions.

According to a Star investigation, break The Floor has been accused of widespread sexual harassment and predatory behavior.

BTF personnel, who are well-known in the dance industry, allegedly initiated sexual dialogues, propositioned them for sex, gave them nude images, sexually harassed them at work, or had sexual relationships with them, according to eight former staff and students.

What is Break The Floor Allegations?

Some of Break the Floor’s well-known choreographers have been accused of sexual harassment and grooming by dancers.

Six dancers, including Clarke, allegedly exposed Nick Lazzarini, who subjected them to unwanted sexual advances.

They claim that the company’s owner rejected accusations of inappropriate behavior, allowing the problem to fester for years.

Three of them claim the alleged advances occurred while they were under the age of 18.

While some of the dancers in this narrative had consented to sexual connections at the time, they now believe that a power imbalance has forced them into relationships with dance leaders who are several years their senior.

Travis Wall’s Grooming and Assault Were Also Exposed.

According to Lavallee, the next victim, Wall, an Emmy winner and “So You Think You Can Dance” runner-up, evaluated his performance at a BTF competition in the summer of 2008.

Soon after, Lavallee, who was 16, went to a hotel room party in California where he claims Wall, who was around 20, gave him crystal meth, which is a highly addictive stimulant. So he could stay awake for his flight back to Arizona.

Even though Lavalle insisted that he had never used drugs before. Lavallee said they exchanged numbers, and he agreed to become Wall’s dance assistant after a few texts and phone conversations.

Wall, according to Lavallee, flew him throughout the United States to assist him in teaching choreography to children in a dance class and at other conventions.

However, Wall did not answer to detailed inquiries from The Star, instead of stating a publicist in which he just stated that “the charges against me are baseless.”

According to the company’s website, Wall is still employed by BTF and is expected to be on the faculty of a BTF-affiliated dance conference in 2021-2022.
