The couple seemed to be getting on well despite an initial clash over what they wanted from a partner.
Daniel, 27, and Matt, 39, got hitched last week. While Matt wanted to settle down and have kids, Daniel admitted he was looking for a best friend sharing the same passion as him.
They also have a 12-year age gap. Matt’s mother was a little concerned but Matt seemed unbothered about it and everything appeared normal between them.

Daniel and Matt were missing from MAFS UK’s first dinner party, according to The Sun.
Their absence drew everyone’s attention and the first thought that came to viewers’ minds was that the couple had split up and quit the show.
Morag, a fellow MAFS contestant, inquired about the missing couple, to which Tayah replied that they must have left the show. Another contestant, Luke Dawson hoped for their return to the show.
If the news is true, then the show would go through a second casting blow. Only recently, Nikita Jaramillo was forced to quit the show because of her aggressive behavior.
However, it appears the duo has not left the show and is still very much a part of it.
According to Cosmopolitan, Daniel later called Morag and said both he and Matt won’t be attending dinner. He confirmed they were still together and will update him about their absence the next time they got together.

The show’s fans immediately took to Twitter to discuss Daniel and Matt’s absence from the dinner party episode. Among many theories, one theory has stuck out the most.
One user, @sabrinajaine, tweeted, “Did Dan and Matt get covid or something? #MAFSUK.” Another fan also seemed certain that the couple must have tested positive for covid-19.
The pair had traveled abroad for their honeymoon so it’s a likely possibility. It would also make sense that they’re currently isolating together and that’s why did not attend the dinner party.
