What happened to Roz Kelly? Where is she now? Married?

Who is Roz Kelly?

Roz Kelly was born in Mount Vernon, New York State USA, on 29 July 1943 – her zodiac sign is Leo and she holds American nationality. She is an actress who is perhaps still best known for her portrayal of Carol ‘Pinky’ Tuscadero in the comedy musical series “Happy Days”, which starred Ron Howard, Henry Winkler and Marion Ross, and which is about the Cunningham family surviving the ‘50s with the help of the superhuman Fonzie. The series aired from 1974 to 1984, and was a huge hit as it won 16 awards including three Golden Globes, while it was nominated for 19 other awards. For her performance, Roz was nominated for a TV Land Award for Break Up That Was So Bad It Was Good.

What happened to her and where is she now?

Roz retired from acting in 1998, and has since been leading everything but a peaceful life. She was arrested on 29 November 1998, because after the neighbor’s car alarm woke her up, she fired a shotgun into their living room window – she also fired at the neighbor’s car and hit another car. She was put on three-year probation and was ordered to see a psychiatrist. She was arrested again on 20 August 2000 after attacking her ex-boyfriend in the street with her cane, and was on 27 October sentenced to spend four months in jail, however, as she had already spent nearly 100 days in jail waiting for the verdict, so was released.

Roz has since been staying away from the media’s attention.

Early life and education

Roz was raised an only child in Mount Vernon, by her father who was a car mechanic and her mother who was a housewife.

She grew up reading girly magazines with her peers, and dreaming about becoming a model. Roz spent most of her free time playing with dolls and gossiping about boys, and upon enrolling at a local high school, she started playing sports and also became interested in acting.

Roz matriculated from high school in 1961 and then started working to financially support herself while occasionally attending auditions for roles in movies and TV series – it wasn’t until 1968 that she got to launch her acting career, after being cast to appear as The Photographer in the comedy drama movie “Greetings”, which starred Jonathan Warden, Robert De Niro and Gerrit Graham, and which follows three friends and their desire for love and for knowing the truth.

Roles in movies

In 1969, Roz played The Little Girl in the comedy “Utterly Without Redeeming Social Value”, and the following year she had the supporting role as Eleanor in the comedy “The Owl and the Pussycat” starring Barbra Streisand, George Segal and Robert Klein, and which follows an author who starts dating his neighbor who is a prostitute.

In 1971, Roz was cast to appear in two movies: she played The Girl in Park in the comedy drama “You’ve Got to Walk It Like You Talk It or You’ll Lose That Beat”, and she also portrayed Roz (not herself) in the comedy “Okay Bill” written and directed by John G. Avildsen.

The year 1973 saw her play one of the lead characters Gilda in the drama “The Female Response”, but which failed to attract much attention, and in 1974 she portrayed Astrabeth Birdie in the romantic war drama “There Is No 13”, both written and directed by William Sachs. In 1977, she was Flaps in the crime horror mystery “Curse of the Black Window”, and her following role came two years later, when she was invited to play the supporting character Doreen Reese in the comedy drama “Amateur Night at the Dixie Bar and Grill”.

In 1980, she appeared as Virgina Trickwood in the comedy “Murder Can Hurt You!”, and three of her final roles in movies before retiring from acting were in the horror thriller “New Year’s Evil” portraying Diane Sullivan also in 1980, the animated historical drama “American Pop” in which she voiced Eva Tanguay and the comedy fantasy horror “Full Moon High” written and directed by Larry Cohen in which she played Jane, both in 1981.

Roles in TV series

In 1977, Roz guest starred in the episode “Blansky’s Biking Beauty” of the comedy series “Blansky’s Beauties”, and was then invited to appear in four episodes of the critically acclaimed action crime drama “Starsky and Hutch” which starred David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser and which is about two cops who are driving a Ford Gran Torino, and fighting crime with the help of Huggy Bear who is a police snitch – the series won four awards and was nominated for six others, including a Golden Globe.

Roz went on to guest star in two episodes of the action crime drama “Kojak”, and was then appeared in single episodes of both the crime drama mystery “Baretta”, and the adventure series “Sword of Justice”. The year 1979 saw her star as Amy Creavy in the episode “Luke’s Love Story” of the action comedy “The Dukes of Hazzard”, while she was then praised for her performance in the award-winning romantic comedy “The Love Boat” starring Gavin MacLeod, Bernie Kopell and Ted Lange, and which won four awards and was nominated for 21 others, including eight Golden Globes.

In 1980, Roz guest starred in two episodes of the popular action adventure crime series “Charlie’s Angels”, and three of her final roles in TV series before retiring from acting were in the episode “Sweet Revenge” of the crime drama mystery “Nero Wolfe” in 1981, two episodes of the adventure comedy drama “Fantasy Island” in 1982, and the episode “Primetime” of the drama “Trapper John, M. D.” in 1983.

Married?

Roz is very secretive when it comes to her love life, and avoids sharing details of her past and present affairs with the public, however, there are rumors circulating the internet that she might be a married woman, but no proof has been provided to support these claims. It is known that she was in a long-term relationship with a man during the ‘90s, as he later reported to the police that she attacked him several weeks after he decided to break-up.

There are also rumors circulating the internet about how Roz was married in the 2000s, and that the two divorced after being together for only several months – according to these rumors, Roz was violent towards the man and he filed for divorce. She hasn’t addressed any rumors.

As of September 2020, she is single, apparently has never married, and doesn’t have children.

Hobbies and other interests

During her 20s and 30s, Roz was a shopaholic who went shopping for clothes nearly every day, spending most of her money on clothes and make-up. She enjoyed leading a lavish lifestyle, staying at expensive hotels and dining at expensive restaurants.

Summer is still Roz’s favorite season, as she likes the feeling of sun on her skin and is also keen on swimming in the ocean.

She travelled all around the US during her acting career to shoot for her movies and TV series, and she has also had many opportunities to visit several European countries.

Roz is a lover of animals and has several pet cats.

She has her own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are John Travolta, Bruce Willis and Angelina Jolie, and a few of her favorite movies are “Pulp Fiction”, “Reservoir Dogs” and “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider”.

Age and height

Roz’s age is 77. She has ginger hair and brown eyes, her height is 5ft 5ins (1.65m) and she weighs around 130lbs (59kgs).

As of September 2020, her net worth has been estimated at over $5 million.

David Coverdale’s Net Worth, Biography, Career, Awards, Fact and Life Story

David Coverdale Net Worth: David Coverdale is an English musician who has a net worth of $18 million dollars. David Coverdale is best known as a member of the rock bands Deep Purple and Whitesnake. He also had a solo career, and collaborated with Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page on a certified-platinum album in 1993. Coverdale was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.Early Life and Career Beginnings: David Coverdale was born in 1951 in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, England, to parents Winnifred and Joseph. At 14, he started performing professionally and honing his voice. Among the early bands he was a part of were Vintage 67, The Government, and Fabulosa Brothers. In 1973, Coverdale discovered that the band Deep Purple was auditioning singers to replace its frontman Ian Gillan. Coverdale was familiar with the band, as he had played with it on the same bill during his time in The Government. After sending Deep Purple a tape and completing his audition, Coverdale was admitted into the band.Career with Deep Purple: Deep Purple released its first album with Coverdale in 1974. The album, called “Burn,” quickly became certified gold in the US and later in the UK. In December of the same year, the band released “Stormbringer,” which also made it to gold album status in the US and UK. However, due to his distaste of the album’s prominent soul and funk influences, guitarist Ritchie Blackmore departed from the band in 1975. Instead of disbanding because of this loss, Coverdale encouraged Deep Purple to continue on with guitarist Tommy Bolin, an American musician famous for his work with the Cleveland rock band The James Gang. With Bolin, Deep Purple released one studio album, “Come Taste the Band,” which ultimately failed to match the success of previous albums. At the end of the band’s tour in March of 1976, Coverdale reportedly walked away crying, announcing his resignation; Deep Purple’s official breakup was made final in July.Solo Career: Coverdale went off on a solo career following the disbanding of Deep Purple. He put out his first album, “White Snake,” in 1977; all of its tracks were written by Coverdale and English guitarist Micky Moody. Although the album did not achieve much success, its name would inspire the creation of Coverdale’s later band. More successful was Coverdale’s second solo album, “Northwinds,” released in March of 1978.Whitesnake: Later in 1978, Coverdale established the band Whitesnake, with Micky Moody and Bernie Marsden on guitar. That year, the band released the “Snakebite” EP, featuring four tracks. This was followed by “Trouble,” the first official studio album from Whitesnake. Featuring former Deep Purple bandmate Jon Lord, “Trouble” peaked at number 50 on the UK albums chart upon its release in 1978. Greater success came in 1980 with the album “Ready an’ Willing,” by which time Ian Paice had joined the band on drums. This album featured the band’s biggest hit yet, “Fool for Your Loving,” which hit number 13 on the British charts. Whitesnake’s next album, 1981’s “Come an’ Get It,” was an even greater hit.In 1984, Whitesnake began achieving more popularity in North America with its album “Slide it In.” At this time, Coverdale sought to update the band’s sound by bringing in former Thin Lizzy guitarist John Sykes, who had a more aggressive contemporary style. However, after contracting a serious sinus infection, Coverdale had to suspend recording. Things were made more complicated due to increasing animosity between Coverdale and Sykes. Before Whitesnake’s upcoming album was fully recorded, Coverdale fired Skyes from the band. Following this, in 1987, the band had its biggest success ever with the self-titled “Whitesnake,” which went multi-platinum. With its singles “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love,” the album made the band a major concert headliner in North America. Afterward, the band recorded “Slip of the Tongue” with guitarist Adrian Vandenberg; it was a commercial success in the US and Europe, achieving platinum status. In 1990, at the end of the band’s tour in Tokyo, Coverdale disbanded Whitesnake to reassess his career.Coverdale-Page: In 1991, Coverdale began collaborating with Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page; their partnership produced the 1993 album “Coverdale-Page.” An international success, it reached number four in the UK and number five in the US, and became certified platinum. Following a short tour in Japan, the pair ultimately parted ways.Whitesnake Return: Coverdale formed a new Whitesnake lineup in 1994 to promote the release of a Greatest Hits album; however, after the tour, the band split up again. A little later, Coverdale released his album “Restless Heart,” and took a brief hiatus from music. He returned in 2000 for his first solo album in 22 years, “Into the Light.”In 2002, Coverdale once again re-formed Whitesnake for a tour across the US and Europe. In 2006, the band signed a record deal with Steamhammer Records, and released the double live album “Live: In the Shadow of the Blues.” Whitesnake subsequently released its first new studio album in more than ten years, “Good to Be Bad.” The band continued to tour extensively, until Coverdale was diagnosed with a vocal injury in 2009. When he recovered, Coverdale and Whitesnake recorded the album “Forevermore,” released in 2011. This was followed four years later with “The Purple Album,” which featured cover versions of Coverdale’s Deep Purple songs.Personal Life: In 1974, Coverdale married Julia Borkowski; they had a daughter, Jessica, in 1978, and later divorced. Coverdale subsequently wed actress and former model Tawny Kitaen in 1989. Kitaen appeared in several of Whitesnake’s music videos, including ones for “Here I Go Again” and “Still of the Night.” Coverdale and Kitaen were divorced in 1991. Later, Coverdale married author Cindy Coverdale, with whom he has a son, Jasper. For over 20 years, Coverdale has lived in Incline Village, Nevada. In 2007, he became a US citizen.
