Emma Tustin and her partner Thomas Hughes were sentenced to prison for murdering their 6-year-old son Arthur Labinjo-Hughes during torture.

On June 16, 2020, Emma Tustin, the 32-years-old American woman, killed the boy by inflicting a fatal head trauma at her Solihull home.

Mr. Justice Wall said in Coventry Crown Court before sentencing that the case was one of the most painful and frightening he had ever seen.

He claimed that neither accused had shown regret and that their actions were cruel and brutal.

Tustin was subjected to abuse by other inmates in the days leading up to her trial, in addition to being pelted with salt.

For the killing of her step-son Arthur Labinjo-Hughes, she was sentenced to 29 years in prison. While charged with the murder of Arthur, she was remanded to HMP Peterborough.

Emma was found guilty of manslaughter on Friday after violently striking the six-year-skull old’s against a solid floor, resulting in devastating damage.

The murder has exhibited no guilt at any point during the two-month trial, refusing to leave the jail and appear in court to receive her sentencing on Friday.

She is claimed to be on the verge of committing suicide and was transferred to the hospital after jail workers got concerned about her bad effect.

Emma Tustin was not stabbed in prison and has been doing good up to this point.

Tustin’s lawyer claimed that her client had received serious threats, however, it’s unsure whether she was in the same jail. The native of Solihull, West Midlands, attempted to blame Arthur’s wounds on himself.

Emma lied to authorities responding to a 999 call about what had occurred to him, as evidenced by the body camera footage above.

Her law team had done everything they could to persuade the jail officials, Mary Prior QC stated at a pre-trial session.

They’ve put plans in place to protect their client’s safety.

Killer Emma Tustin Is Arthur Labinjo Step-Mom

Emma Tustin was stepmother to the 6 years old victim Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.

Arthur suffered 130 injuries on his body after being suffered from severe brain damage while in Tustin’s hands.

She took a picture of him laying on the ground and sent it to his father, Thomas Hughes, 29. Hughes was found guilty of the child’s murder.

Hundreds of residents gathered outside Arthur’s residence in Cranmore Road, Solihull, over the weekend to show their support.

The memorial, which was organized by a local citizen, saw people lay bouquets, hold balloons, and display posters and banners honoring Arthur.
