What age can you sit in the front seat

The Federal Traffic Law indicates that safety seats are mandatory for children under the age of four. As per the Federal Traffic laws Article 49, front seat passengers should also be at least 145cm tall and not younger than 10 years old.

Once your child has reached the proper height and weight, the seat belt fits appropriately and, when they’re over the age of 12, your child is then old enough to sit in the front seat. … Once a child reaches 4 feet 9 inches tall, they should be ready to move to a seat belt, if they’re over 12 years old.

Safety organizations take a stricter stance and recommend that children up to age ten and whose height is up to 145 cm ride in a booster seat in the back seat and sit in the front only when they reach age 13.
