The Texas Rangers acquired Prince Fielder from the Detroit Tigers. However, recent rumors have linked his poor performance with the Tigers to infidelity issues.
In May, Fielder and his wife Chanel filed for divorce. Avisail Garcia, a Tigers teammate, was traded to the Chicago Cubs in May. Now there’s talk that Avisail’s sale and the divorce petition are linked.
Denny McLain, a former Detroit Tigers pitcher, first mentioned the problem on the Michigan radio show Doctor & Bentley.
He disclosed that During the previous season, Avasail Garcia had been sleeping with Prince Fielder’s wife.
There was a clubhouse brawl when Miguel Cabrera and the rest of the squad found out what was going on. Miggy was defending Fielder in the clubhouse and confronted Avasail about it. Cabrera re-injures himself in the scuffle.
To get rid of the cyst in the clubhouse, the team swiftly moves Garcia. And, of course, to keep him far from Fielder’s wife. Fielder was moved in part to go in a different route and ensure that the chemistry wasn’t thrown off again this season.
