Pumroy joined Fairborn High School, where she officially initiated her pursuit of a basketball career.
The young girl quickly rose to glory as her impressive performances inducted her into the 2011 Dabbs Miami Valley All-Area First Team.
Following that year, Brooke suffered a horrible ACL injury, which made her out of action for most of the 2012 high school season.
After completing high school, Brooke went to Marquette. Speaking with Heavy, she narrated a fascinating story of how she ended up at the university.
Then Eagles head coach Terri Mitchell called her over the phone and expressed his ambition for her to play for the team. Mitchell gave Pymroy an offer, but she was confused at first but eventually went there a week after.
However, the excitement did not last long, as the competitive college league came as a slap to her face. She could not cope with the toughness and faded away in the brunch. But with time, Pumroy found herself back again at the top.

The post came as a surprise to many of her followers because they were unaware of her pregnancy in the first place. Tyler and Brooke kept it a secret.
On the other hand, Tyler also broke the good news to his followers on Twitter. Patricia is named after Tyler’s mother Pat Summit, a former Lady Vols basketball head coach.

Inspired by his mom, he was close to the game since childhood.
Pat spent 38 years coaching the Lady Vols basketball team before retiring in 2012. In 1999, she was inducted into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame.
