Twitter Users Don’t Believe Addison Rae Was At Met Gala; Was She?

In the weeks before the 2021 Met Gala, there were rumors as to whether certain personalities would be attending the event. On the 13th of September, famous Tiktoker Addison Rae was at the Met Ball.

Met Gala is an annual event but it did not come on last year because of the pandemic. This year, however, all attendees of the Met Ball were supposed to be vaccinated if they want to be at the Ball.

This year, Met Gala was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. And attendees were to dress according to the theme “American fashion”. Addison Rae graced the event wearing a 2003 Tom Ford for Gucci and a blonde lob. She told Ilana Glazer that, “I’m shaking in my boots, I don’t have boots on, but still.”

The influencer is known for recreating dances on Tiktok, and she was recently cast in Netflix’s gender-swapped movie, “He’s All That”. In this movie, she played the role of an influencer and expert meddler, Padgett Sawyer.

Before her appearance on the red carpet at the Met Gala, she was teased that Lady Gaga might mistake her for someone serving at the event. But she found it hilarious. Some people did not believe that she was actually invited to the event, and went on twitter to express their sentiments. One user said “Wait Addison Rae was actually invited it wasn’t a joke? ” alt=”?” />

Another twitter user even said “ADDISON RAE IS AT THE MET GALA? WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK ? “. Another tweeted that “Why tf is addison rae at the MetGala bro she punches air for a living smh”
