Taylor Lorenz’s Washington Post Story On Homophobic Dog, What Did Christina Pushaw Say?

On May 15, 2022, a Twitter post in which there was a screenshot of a Washington Post headline went viral with almost half a million retweets. And as per the post the columnist was mentioned to be Taylor Lorenz.

The post appears to be a screenshot of an article in the section Internet Culture of Washington Post.  The title of the post was “This Dog Is The New Face Of Online Homophobia”. 

The tweet was shared thousands of times and audiences have shown their outrage at Taylor Lorenz. 

No, Taylor Lorenz has no association with such an article. The well-reputed Columnist of the Washington Post has been clear to her audiences that she has not written such a post. 

In today’s day and age of the internet and photoshop, it is very easy to make a post regarding someone and Post-it regardless of thinking of the consequences of such action to someone’s reputation. 

This is exactly what happened to Taylor Lorenz and hopefully, after clearing the air her fans are happy.  

The Picture of the Dog was is Whitney Chewston, she is a Dachshund with over 100 thousand followers on Instagram. The man who is to be blamed for the controversy is @mailprivilege. The real name behind the Twitter account is still unknown

Christina Pushaw is a politician and was one of the people, who got succumbed to the wrongful tweet and criticized Taylor Lorenz. 

The Politician did have a sarcastic remark to make on the Columnist but later deleted her tweet after the confirmation of such a tweet being a lie and photoshop was confirmed. 

Christina Pushaw is very radical in her opinion and her followers love that about her but they are hopeful from next time she would check the authentication before criticizing others.
