The whole world is mourning after the precious singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away in hospital aged 92, having tested positive for Covid-19 last month. On January 8, 2022, she was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital.
Later, her condition began getting worse after she was diagnosed with pneumonia. According to the Independent, Lata died due to multi-organ failure after over 28 days of Covid-19 diagnosis.
Moreover, she will be given a state funeral, and the Government of India announced two-day national mourning. Not only that, the national flag will fly at half-mast from February 6 to 7 throughout India in her consideration.
