Bianca had a rough clay and grass season that time, losing in round one of Roland Garros and Wimbledon. With the new coach, she looked to find her form again and also shared they had a good connection.

In 2022, she missed several big tournaments in the first three months, including Indian Wells, Australian Open, and Miami Open, following her injury. She made her appearance at Stuttgart as a Wildcard in April. Bianca lost to Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka in the 16th round.
