Meet Phil Wang’s Beautiful Wife Helen Wu

Helen Wu is known as the wife of Phil Wang. Helen is a podcast host for the modern-day Asian American woman (AsianBossGirl).

Helen co-hosts the podcast along with Melody Cheng and Janet Wang. The trio started the program, AsianBossGirl (ABG) as girlfriends while balancing jobs in technology, finance, and media with corporate careers spanning over a decade.

They believe that most Asian women are lacking in almost all media outlets. Those who are primarily active represent beauty, fashion, or blogging. So, to break the barrier Helen and her friends decided to start the podcast.

As a content creator, Helen has advocated for bringing up other content creators and helps produce ABG’s episodes. The three hosts share their experiences and explore various topics as something Asian American women working, living, and dating in LA.

Phil Wang and Helen Wu’s Covid-postponed marriage

Phil and Helen tied their marital knot in May 2021. After their venue was canceled in November, the pair had no options, and they didn’t want to wait another year. So, they agreed to do a courthouse marriage.

As all the city officers were still closed due to the pandemic, the wedding ceremony had to be done virtually. The pair had to sign up for an appointment on an archaic government website which was affected and didn’t show the following openings.

Phil and Helen got the date of May 10. The writer-director says, “Well, guess this is our wedding day!” They knew it would be a virtual ceremony, yet the pair tried to make their big day special.

They rented a small house in Joshua Tree and bought some beautiful clothes and a bouquet. Accompanied by their families, Phil and Helen got married sitting on the couch with their “laptop on a punch bowl.”

Later, they enjoyed their supermarket cake and took photographs of each other. Although it was not the wedding they had dreamed of, they tried to make it perfect and enjoyed the day to the fullest. Phil marks the day as “Perfect in its way.”
