Jason Day’s mother Dening was diagnosed with cancer in 2015, the same year he had become the world’s No.1 golfer.
His mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer and was given a year to live.
The news came as a big shock to Jason as he had lost his father, Alvin to stomach cancer when he was 12.
With acute medical care, Dening Day fought cancer and is still alive today.
