Pharrell Williams Net Worth: Is Pharrell a billionaire?

Pharrell Williams is a record producer, rapper, singer, songwriter, and fashion designer from the United States. Williams formed Surrounded by Idiots with Chad Hugo, Magoo, and cousin Timbaland in the early 1990s; they disbanded before making any records.

Williams then formed the Neptunes, a four-piece “R&B-style” band with Hugo and friends Shay Haley and Mike Etheridge. They entered a high school talent show and were discovered by Teddy Riley, whose studio was right next to the school. Riley signed the group after they graduated.

Williams was announced in January 2015 as the musical director for a seven-continent Live Earth concert on June 18, 2015, to raise awareness of and pressure governments to act on climate change. On February 8, 2015, Williams appeared in an episode of The Simpsons called “Walking Big & Tall,” in which he visits Springfield to write a new town anthem. Three songs by Williams were recorded for the soundtrack of the 2015 animated film The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. Team Pharrell’s 16-year-old Sawyer Fredericks won the eighth season of The Voice on May 18, 2015.
