The controversial General Overseer of The Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Chukwemeka Odumeje, has had his multi-million-naira church structure at Bida Road, Figge, Onitsha, Anambra State, destroyed.
Odumeje has ordered the destruction of the state-of-the-art structure that houses the ministry and other offices.

Pastor Odumeje Arrested Today And His Church Demolished, What’s Happened?
According to 9News Nigeria, Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo demolished the Pastor Chukwuemeka Ohanamere Church in Onitsha because it constituted an obstacle.
Intervention and Administration Mountain of the Holy Ghost Ministry Onitsha is owned by the renowned Nigerian Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, and has lately been slated for demolition by the Anambra State Government. Onitsha is also known as the “Freedom Land and Miracle Center.”

Desilting of the Onitsha River has just begun to avoid environmental hazards linked with floods. The ordinance required the removal of structures, churches, residential and industrial buildings, and other structures that would interfere with the work being done in that region.
Unfortunately, the nearly 20,000-seat ultra-modern structure, which cost millions of naira to build, was designated as one of the big churches to get Soludo’s sledgehammer.
According to several reports, the decision was made because the church building obstructed and blocked drainage inside the Figge-Onitsha Environs. The structure is one of many that the Soludo government has designated for removal.
A pastor from Calabar named Goodheart Val Aloysius chastised Prophet Odumeje over the situation concerning the late comedian Ada Jesus. He argued that Ada’s situation proved Odumeje’s lack of prophetic talents and that he was not a prophet.
Goodheart mentioned that his church organizes and stages its miracles. The preacher from Calabar challenged Odumeje to a battle of the weathermen at the Abuja National Stadium. He stated that media outlets would be present to cover the event.
The controversial prophet allegedly tried to prevent officials from dismantling his church, angering the security guards who accompanied the demolition squad.
In a viral video, Odumeje was seen being pushed around by security personnel, including police officers and vigilantes. He was spanked numerous times and barred from entering the demolition zone.
The video elicited a mixed reaction, with many decrying the cleric’s treatment. However, other analysts believed it was appropriate because he had previously attacked and damaged religious places.
