MP Erica Stanford Shoots Up In Christopher Luxon New Lineup: Here Is More On Her

MP Erica Stanford started her political career at a young age. She lives in Okura in the Auckland region with her husband and family.

Stanford is a New Zealand politician and a member of the New Zealand Parliament for East Coast Bays. She assumed office on September 23, 2017. Erica’s [political views are on the progressive side of the National Party.

She has produced local television shows and worked in export sales. Erica produced a reality TV show, Noise Control, and another show, Last Chance Dog. She did work on Piha Rescue for over six years and wrote scripts for various other shows.

Standford’s current age is 43 years, as she was born in 1978.

She graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts in politics. She considers Dr. Raymond Miller, a lecturer, one of the reasons for her passion for politics. 

Outside of her political career, Erica served as the Chair of the Browns Bay Business Association. She wrote for the Browns Bay magazine, and was a member of the Long Bay-Okura Great Park Society, as per Scoop.

The MP has helped several locals, organizations, and businesses to trail their way through government departments. She works hard to gain results on projects that are important for the community.

Erica enjoys representing the National Party as the spokesperson for Early Childhood Education and spokesperson for Immigration. 

Stanford’s main focus remains to support​ the locals with economic recovery and work with the local conservation groups to keep the East Coast beautiful.

Meet Erica Stanford Husband And Family

Erica met her husband, Kane, while studying at Rangitoto College. The couple got married after dating for a while and they have two kids. She is raising her daughter and son in Okura, where the family is invested in the local community.

Stanford comes from a Dutch family who immigrated to New Zealand. She was born and raised in the East Coast Bays and has been living in the area for more than four decades.

Luxon demoted Judith Collins off the front bench whereas promoted Stanford.

National revealed its new-look line-up with promotions for Erica Stanford and Chris Bishop, who are now ranked seventh and fourth. Erica retained the immigration portfolio and rocketed up the rankings, reports NZ Herald.
