Michael Chiesa Conor McGregor
Chiesa filed a lawsuit against Conor McGregor and others for a bus attack at Brooklyn. The infamous dolly-throwing incident occurred on April 2018. This was after a UFC 223 media day. Connor McGregor, the former UFC lightweight champion, and a group of others stormed the Barclays Center loading dock attacking a bus that held UFC fighters in Brooklyn.
Chiesa was sprayed with glass together with other UFC fighters when Connor picked up a dolly sitting nearby and threw it at the bus and shattered a window.
Mike had to withdraw from his UFC 223 fight against Anthony Pettis, which was scheduled for two days later at Barclays as he was left bloody from the incident. His fellow fighter, Ray Borg had to withdraw from a scheduled bout with Brandon Moreno due to glass getting in his eye.
Later that night, Connor was arrested on charges that included a pair of felonies. In July, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanour disorderly conduct. McGregor performed five days of community service and underwent three days of anger management courses as part of the plea.
McGregor was responding to his rival Khabib Nurmagomedov who was one of the fighters on the bus in the Barclays loading dock where his team confronted his teammate Artem Lobov in the UFC host hotel earlier that week.
