Mars Callahan Net Worth, Income, Salary, Earnings, Biography

Mars Callahan (born 1971) is an American actor, director, producer, and writer who has worked in a variety of genres. He is probably most recognised for his work on the film Poolhall Junkies, in which he acted as director, actor, and screenwriter, among other things. Callahan began touring with a children’s musical ensemble when she was eleven years old, travelling to thirty-seven different states. At the age of fifteen, he was cast in the television series The Wonder Years, which was his first acting job. After refining his acting talents on television, he decided to try his luck on the big screen, and he quickly found himself in a number of films. Callahan was inspired by the filmmakers with whom he had previously worked and decided to try his hand at working behind the camera, resulting in the production of his debut short film, The Red Bag, in 1998. In a 2007 interview with the Hollywood Reporter, he disclosed that he had been suffering from severe health issues since physicians discovered a tumour in his right kidney. He has been in and out of a wheelchair for years since he lost his right kidney as well as his right adrenal gland. Callahan finished in 94th place overall at the 2011 World Series of Poker main event, earning $64,531 in prize money. As a result of his misappropriation of corporate funds and failure to disclose his previous SEC Desist and Refrain orders for selling unregistered securities relating to Spring Break ’83 production company Big Sky Motion Pictures, Callahan was fired from his position as CEO of Gawk, Inc. (the company that owns the rights to his Poker Junkies script) in 2014.
