According to a representative of Lorraine Schwartz, the ring was a flawless cushion cut D and a perfect diamond. He also confirmed that Kanye West had indeed worked with Schwartz to design the ring. He had a vision of what the ring would look like. In other words, Kim’s engagement ring was the brainchild of husband Kanye. As for the cost, the actual price of the jewelry has not been revealed, but experienced industry authorities believe it costs between $4-5 million. Some reports have indicated that the high quality diamond escrow fee could cost up to $8 million.

As if the huge engagement wasn’t enough, Kanye West married his sweetheart Kim Kardashian with one of the most expensive wedding bands on the market. The rapper had no choice but to find a better wedding band that would match, fit, and possibly exceed the flawless, multimillion-dollar 15-carat ring he had given her for the marriage proposal. As usual, he delivered exactly what was expected of him. Earlier when proposing to Kim, the rapper said he wanted a celeb wedding of the century, and presenting her with that kind of wedding was the first step to making his dream come true.
According to Lorraine Schwartz’s rep, the rapper played as big a role in designing the wedding ring as he did in designing the engagement ring. Kim’s diamond ring was handmade and perfectly matched her engagement ring. She’s no stranger to such flashy things, so she must have been very happy to know that her husband knows her tastes and preferences. Kanye West’s band was equally stylish but was gold. The price of the jewelry was not immediately clear, but the price could be close to that of the engagement ring (in the range of $4-5 million).
