Kevin White – Biography, Height, Weight, Parents, Siblings, Family, Girlfriend

Kevin White is the seventh overall pick in the 2015 National Football League (NFL) Draft by the Chicago Bears where he plays as a wide receiver. He played college football in West Virginia and was ranked as one of the top two receivers in the 2015 class along with Amari Cooper. His career has seen more injuries than appearances, yards, receptions and touchdowns, but he’s more determined than ever to prove his form and make his mark in the NFL.

Kevin White’s Biography

Born Kevin Romone Jr. White in Plainfield, New Jersey on June 25, 1992, White began to become an NFL player with a dream too big to be overwhelmed by obstacles. He moved to Allentown around age 10 and through college, then to the small market town of Macungie before his sophomore year in high school.

He attended Emmaus High School in Pennsylvania. Although he wasn’t really well-known in high school, he spent most of the season on the bench or playing cornerback, but he exploded before his senior year. He was limited by his grades after his senior year in high school which saw him attend Lackawanna Middle School for two seasons. The institution is located in Scranton, Pennsylvania with a strong track record in developing quality Division 1 football players.

After a stint at Lackawanna, he proceeded to West Virginia in 2013 where he was considered one of the top two receivers in the 2015 class alongside Amari Cooper. A dynamite in the game, Kevin White eventually became an All American and finalist for the Fred Biletnikoff Award.

He finished his college career with 144 receptions, 1,954 yards, and 15 rushing touchdowns after starting every game in his senior season. Kevin White was poised to become a star with the Bears after being drafted as the 7th overall pick in the 1st round with a world of possibilities opening up for him. However, this remains to be done.

Although he had a successful college career, his professional career was hampered by a series of injuries seeing him spend more time on injured reserve than on the field. He missed his entire rookie season with a shin injury, followed by further injury streaks that limited him to 21 receptions and 193 yards in just 5 of 48 NFL games in three seasons.

One interesting quality about Kevin White though is his determination. His trainer at Lackawanna, Mark Duda, aptly described him as a Ferrari with a diesel engine that would never stop. White still holds on to the same determination to see him in the fields where he will shine without limit. He is a potential dynamic playmaker for any team’s offense and is ready to prove that his form has cleared all the hurdles of rehabilitation since his injury spell.

Although the Bears declined his fifth-year option in May 2018, White remains convinced by the impediment his injuries have put on his career path. He is more determined than ever to make a comeback and prove his form in the network.

Family, parents, siblings

Kevin is the first of six children born to their parents, Kevin White Sr. and Tammy White: four boys, Kevin, Kyzir, Kizer and Ka’Raun and two girls, including Kiyae, who plays basketball for the Auburn Tigers thanks to an athletic scholarship. She majored in communications, with a minor in sports management. Growing up, the White brothers, very determined to play in the NFL, competed in every field, including basketball, video games, and blastholes.

His brothers apparently followed in their big brother steps: from Emmaus to Lackawanna in West Virginia, where they also played football. Ka’Raun and Kyzir are already playing in the leagues with Ka’Ruan at wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals and Kyzir at outside linebacker for the Los Angeles Chargers. You know dreams come true, right? Finally, we have three white brothers in the NFL arena.

Despite the injuries that seem to have put a damper on their brother’s career and NFL dreams, they still believe in him and are confident that he would bounce back better and stronger than he ever has.

The Bears wide receiver is dating Roxy Gbor and the duo had been together since before his NFL draft. Roxy, real name Roskana, graduated from the University of Louisville in 2014. She is a model and works for 10 Management, a modeling agency in Chicago.
