JK Dobbins was born to his parents; his mother, Mya Grounds, and his father, Lawrence Dobbins. His parents were high-school sweethearts who decided to start a family in their teens.

JK was born when his mother was just 18 years old, but the couple gave their best to bring up their son.

His father, Lawrence, is still a well-known running-back legend in La Grange, Texas. He played impressively during his high school and college career but did not make it up to NFL.

Sadly he died of a stroke in Bartlett State Prison at the age of 33 when J.K. was just 15 years old.

Hence, JK worked very hard to reach the NFL, where his father never reached, and continue the legend of his father’s name from La Grange.

JK Dobbins Injury Update

JK Dobbins suffered a left knee injury while he was playing as of August 28.

The Baltimore Ravens won against the Washington Football Team but suffered a seeming loss due to JK’s injury.

JK was immediately rushed to medical supplies as his foot had turned over. The complete medical reports of his injury are still awaiting.

Meanwhile, the team hopes that he gets cleared off very soon and joins the next preseason game on September 14 against Las Vegas Raiders.
