Jerry Jeudy has another painful story of losing his kid sister to a medical condition when he was beginning his football career.

The wide receiver was making it big during his high school football days and celebrating a recent win when he learned that his younger sister Aaliyah had passed away.

While the news was heartbreaking, it was a miracle for the family since she outlived the survival time of the condition.

Little Aaliyah suffered from Trisomy 18 or Edward’s syndrome, a rare but serious condition affecting a baby’s bodily functions. The chromosomal abnormality results in body dysfunction, not letting a baby live even up to a year.

ESPN confirms that Aaliyah was constantly put under the care of machines and home nurses until she passed away in 2016 at age seven.
