  • Jake Arrieta started his professional baseball career in 2007 after being elected in the 2007 MLB draft by The Baltimore Orioles.
  •  In 2007, he made his professional baseball debut in the Arizona Fall League with the Pheonix Desert Dogs. In the same year, his baseball team won the Arizona Fall League. 
  • He made his major league debut with a win against New York Yankees on 10th June 2010.
  • He became the second-youngest opening day starting pitcher for the Orioles. On 6th July 2012, he was demoted to Triple-A.
  • In 2013, he was sent down to Triple-A and he again was recalled. He was then traded to Lowa Clubs on 2nd July 2013 where he played 30 games for the club.
  • In 2014, he took no-hitters into the seventh or eight innings three times. He was voted 9th for the National League Cy Young Award.
  • On 20th August 2015, he became the first MLB pitcher to win 15 games in the 2015 season. He became the 14th no-hitter in Club’s history after he no-hit the Los Angels Dodgers. 
  •  In that season, he posted a 22-6 record and 1.77 ERA and he became the fifth pitcher to win 22 games with less than six losses.
  • He won NL Cy Young Award and was voted sixth for the 2015 NL Most Valuable Player Award.
  • He then signed a one year contract with the Club on a record deal of $10.7 million salaries on 5th February 2016.
  • In the 2016 season, he pitched his second career no-hitter and 15th no-hitter in Clubs history. His club won World Series title 2016 for the first time.
  • On 11th March 2018, he signed a three-year contract with the Philadelphia Phillies for $75 million. He posted a 10-11 record and 3.96 ERA in that season.
  • He became injured at the start of 2019 season and recently on 7th July 2019, it has been revealed that he had a bone spur and he might not play this season.
