Isiolo High School Students turn to burn garbages in Isiolo town
In the wake of recent school unrest across the country, one school that is doing things differenly is Isiolo Boys High School. Students from the institution joined hands over the weekend for a cleanup exercise in Isiolo town.
Speaking during the voluntary community services, Isiolo Boys students’ head Mohammed Noor urged students from other schools to refrain from burning down their schools because it is only affecting their parents who have to raise money for rebuilding.
The school’s principal Diba Abdi commended the students saying the school has not experienced any kind of unrest. He said that the boys have been very good. There was no sort of strike in the school thats why they have decided to give the duty to the community.
in additional in cleaning up the streets, the boys also carried out the cleaning up exercise in Isiolo county referral hospital, the Jamia Mosque, and the Catholic church.
The county government of Isiolo provided the necessary tools.
