Moreover, Monty continued to carry the torch but has said goodbye to his fans and followers of the show. Don was suffering from sore knees, he has faced many health issues, and he is already 66; thus, it might be difficult for him to continue the show concerning his well-being. 

Furthermore, Monty has been the leading man for a long time as he took the baton in 2003, and now it is 2022. It had nearly been two decades for Monty to write and act in the show.

Monty does not seem to be going anywhere; in his heartfelt message, Monty had stated that “we come to the end of and difficult, strange year, and gardens have given so much pleasure and comfort to many people than they do now.” 

In addition, he moved away from the camera with his companion Nell and Patti; those cute dogs had been in the presenter’s company for a long time and played their part.
