Lynne Perrie, a famous English actress and singer, did cosmetic surgery on her lips without consulting her bosses at Coronation Street.
Lynne was a native of Rotherham, England, and came into the limelight after her role as Mrs. Casper in Ken Loach’s 1969 film Kes. The lip surgery involved having tissue from her backside injected into her mouth. She made such a risky decision in her dream of having fuller lips. But the results were unflattering.
The media taunted Perrie for her new image, which she later regretted. After her retirement, in an interview with ITV’s Facelifts From Hell program, Lynne revealed she faced a lot of humiliation after her surgery.
She added that everyone laughed at her face calling her a fish face, so she began avoiding cameras in public places. In her opinion, plastic surgery was not the only matter for all the taunts and humiliation.

Coronation Street star Duggie Brown’s sister was reportedly sacked from Coronation Street because of her lip surgery.
However, Lynne denied the rumors and said she felt that her character had simply run its course and that leaving the show was her own decision. Per the producer Carolyn Reynolds, her final episode on the show aired in March 1994.
Lynne portrayed the role of Ivy for more than twenty years, and the character was killed off off-screen in August the following year.
The comedian, actor, and former Coronation Street actor, Duggie passed away at 82, while his sister Lynne took her last breath in 2006.

Lynne rose into prominence playing Ivy Tilsley for over 20 years and was handed away alongside her husband and son at her bedside. According to her brother Duggie, she died peacefully at 9.40 pm.
The Rotherham-born actress experienced several health issues for several years and was admitted to the hospital for treatment in 2001. Also, she had an alcohol problem for many years, she revealed in a candid account of life.
Additionally, Perrie had gone through intermittent health problems, including a heart attack and a cancer scare. After diagnosing AIDS in her son, Perry went into depression and anxiety.
Being a mother, she felt her son’s pain, so she suffered some worse conditions. At various stages of her life, she overcame several odds and difficulties and finally left this world at 74.
