Miya Horcher is Asher’s girlfriend in CW’s All American. She plays Jamie, the love interest of Beverly High’s wide receiver Asher Adams.
Played by Pretty Little Liars actor Cody Christian, Asher Adams has been one of the main leads on the CW’s sports drama since it first premiered in October 2018. The show is inspired by the real-life story of NFL player Spencer Paysinger, played by Daniel Ezra on the show.
The fifth season of All American premiered in earlier October, bringing its fair share of high-intensity college drama, messy love lives, hard lessons on and off the field, and abundant number of parties on the plate.
Miya Horcher Plays Jamie in All American
Actress Miya Horcher joined CW’s All American in 2021, portraying the character, Jamie. She is currently guest-starring as Asher Adam’s girlfriend on the show.
Miya first appeared on All American’s fourth season as Jamie in the episode Prom Night, which aired on CW on December 13, 2021. She later appeared in four more episodes of the same season.
Jamie is a waitress at Asher’s stepfather’s fine dining restaurant. She later got acquainted with Asher while working there and things have now gone further to both being in a mutual relationship.
Unfortunately, Jaime had to take leave in the summer after suffering from lupus which explains Jamie’s disappearance in the fourth season’s last few episodes.
Interestingly, Jamie has made her comeback on All American’s fifth season as the girlfriend of Asher Adams. However, Miya is only a guest star on the show and has appeared in only two out of seven episodes of season 5.
She appeared on the second episode of Don’t Sweat the Technique back in October and on the sixth Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down, which aired last week on November 21, 2022, on CW.
Jamie Is One of Asher Adam’s Girlfriend On All American
Asher Adams, the wide receiver of Beverly Hills, has had three girlfriends on CW’s All American since it’s first season.
Asher’s latest girlfriend on the show is Jamie, played by actress Miya Horcher. Asher and Jamie seemed to hit it off, and viewers saw the pair get close to each other in the fourth season.
Jamie, who was suffering from lupus, had actually ghosted Asher rather than revealing her about her condition, assuming Asher couldn’t handle it.
The couple seems to have made amends since then. Also, viewers saw Asher asking out Jamie to be his girlfriend in the fourth season’s 13th episode. Jamie later agreed to be his girlfriend and even shared a passionate kiss.
The couple is still together in the fifth season and is getting all the love from All American viewers. The fifth season saw a devastated Asher after he learned about his rare heart condition, cardiomyopathy.
His heart condition put a stop on his football career, but Asher has found a way to continue his football journey in the fifth season as an assistant defensive coordinator.
Beverly High’s It Girl Layla Keatings ( Greta Onieogou ) was Asher Adam’s first girlfriend on All American. They were the cliche high school popular couple.
Asher was restless because of Layla’s growing bond with his nemesis Spencer. Layla eventually shared a kiss with Spencer, but all was forgiven between them.
Later, Layla dumps Asher on the homecoming dance. Asher, hurt being dumpt, gets drunk and reveals that he had slept with Olivia Baker before Layla had cheated on him with Spencer.
Asher briefly dated Olivia, but the pair grew apart and broke it off. Olivia (Samantha Logan) is a recovering addict and alcoholic on the show.
All American Actress Miya Horcher is from Alabama
Miya Horcher, Jamie from All American, was born on 16 August 1999. The actress is only 23 years old as of 2022 and has already made her name starring in popular American TV shows.
Miya is a southern girl from the southeastern US state of Alabama. She and her family moved around a lot while growing up due to her father’s job in the navy.
Growing up in a Christian household has had influences on the actresses’ life. She is a firm believer and trusts in god’s plans. Miya, in an interview with One Christian Voice, said,
“Proverbs 16:9 says we can make our plans, but the Lord directs our steps. So, when I feel overwhelmed, I trust that God has bigger plans for me even if I didn’t book a job.”

23-year-old actress Miya Horcher was born to parents, father William Horcher and mother Joslin Horcher. She grew up as one of five siblings in the Horcher household.
Her father, William, served in the navy, while her mother, Joslin, was a stay-at-home mom looking after Miya and her siblings. Although the family had to move a lot but going to church and having family time on Sundays was a constant in Miya’s life.
Miya’s family is quite large, having two older brothers and two sisters, one older and one younger. Her sisters, Madalyn and Madison, are also actresses.
Madison, Miya’s younger sister, is still a teenager but has starred in several TV shows and movies. She is best known for Think Like a Dog, Mail Order Monster, and Adventures in Babysitting.
While Miya and Madison were born in Alabama, their older sister Madalyn was born in Pensacola, Florida. She became known for her role in the 2014 miniseries Grace point as Chloe Solano.
Like Miya, Madalyn also started acting when she was a child. She guest starred on House and My Parents, My Sister & Me as a child artist.
